Chris Douglas-Roberts recalled by Dallas Mavericks from D-League

Tim MacMahon [ Source: ESPN ] - December 24, 2012
The Dallas Mavericks made the addition of swingman Chris Douglas-Roberts official, announcing his signing Sunday.
Douglas-Roberts, a three-year NBA veteran who will fill the roster spot created by granting point guard Derek Fisher's request to be released, had been dominant during his 11 games with the Mavericks' NBA Development League affiliate Texas Legends. Douglas-Roberts averaged a league-high 22.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 11 games with the Legends.
The Mavs are intrigued by the 6-foot-7, 210-pound Douglas-Roberts' potential in a point forward role.
Douglas-Roberts was originally selected by the New Jersey Nets with the 40th overall pick in the 2008 draft. He has averaged 7.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 155 career NBA games.
