Billy Ray Bates appears on ‘Wil Time Big Time’ to seek help

The TV5 show “Wil Time Big Time” is no stranger to audience members sharing their sob stories on the air.
But on Saturday night, a face familiar to many PBA fans appeared on the show to tell his own tale and ask for financial help.
PBA Hall of Fame import Billy Ray Bates headed to the live airing of Willie Revillame’s game show at the TV5 studios in Quezon City to personaly ask the host, who is known for his bleeding heart for charity cases, to help him secure funds for an upcoming operation.
“I need help… and sometimes, it’s hard to ask people for something when you had it all. I had everything and it slipped through the bottom of my hands,” said a tearful Bates during the show.
“I’m hurting right now and I’m crying out to someone to help me get back a part of my life that I lost. I just want to reach out to you and I need to sit down and talk to you, just 10 minutes so I can change my life and get healthy.
